Beautiful Fountain

The Fountain Hills fountain reaches 562 feet (171 m) through a 600HP pump which draws water from the lake through an 18in pipeline.  At full speed, the water pressure is 375 pounds per square inch which translates to 7000 gallons per minutes.  The water velocity is 68.5 feet per second which means that there is more than 8 tons of water floating in the air above the fountain.  The nozzle is Swiss made and activates for 15min every hour between 10am and 9pm seven days a week.
